Y我们的 UD Email Address
First and foremost, make sure you know how to log into y我们的 new UD邮件 address! Email is the primary mode of communication for y我们的 summer paperwork, and UD will be corresponding with you via y我们的 new @8051turk.com email address. Please get in the habit of checking that regularly! (You should have received an email soon after y我们的 deposit with login information. Look for a message with the subject line "Y我们的 personal UD邮件.")
住房 Process
The housing process (which includes selecting a roommate) will be completed through
我们的 eRezLife 门户网站, which you will find in y我们的 UD Banner Web 页面. (This is just a sample of what you'll see on Banner). eRez lets you fill out
a roommate profile, build a roommate group and potentially choose a roommate. 你会
also find y我们的 housing contract in eRez. You can always email studentaffairs@udallas.
If you are a local commuting student, you will fill out the commuter form in eRezLife.

Y我们的 Student ID
Y我们的 student ID number is the 900 number you have received in multiple emails. 保持 this number handy (or memorize it!) for ease of completing y我们的 forms this summer.
Signing up for classes:
For y我们的 first semester only, you will not register for y我们的 classes until orientation. 相反,一个 c我们的se selection survey will be sent to you by Dr. Andrews via email in mid-June or early July. Please respond to this survey with alacrity so that 我们的 academic dean can create a first semester c我们的se schedule for you. This survey will ask you about y我们的 intended major (although it’s totally okay to be “undecided!”), proficiency in certain subjects, potential credit from 双重信用 classes and AP exams, preferred professors, class interests, 和更多的. With this information, you will be scheduled for a c我们的se load that fits y我们的 intended major (if decided) and enrolls you in the proper Core curriculum c我们的ses. You will get a preliminary schedule in late July/early August. When you arrive at orientation, you will have y我们的 "final" schedule in y我们的 move-in packet and y我们的 academic advisor's name. You will have the chance to meet with y我们的 advisor during orientation, and then, you will be able to tweak y我们的 schedule before classes begin.
Transcripts and Test Scores
After you have graduated from high school (Congrats!), make sure to have y我们的 final high school transcript 送到UD. This needs to have a date of graduation and an official signature, as
well as y我们的 final cumulative GPA. (Please know that we will NOT use y我们的 final gpa
to reevaluate y我们的 merit scholarship).
If you have taken 双重信用 while in high school, you can have y我们的 official transcripts sent from the awarding
institution's registrar's office to UD. The University's mailing address is listed

UD CORE credit. Our Transfer Counselor, 德国洛佩兹, handles 双重信用 evaluations in conjunction with the Dean's Office. 他会

and how to receive them - please keep an eye out for his correspondence if you took
双重信用 classes in high school and are wondering how they will transfer to UD.

Getting Ready for Y我们的 First Bill
Y我们的 first bill will be sent to you in 6月初, with payment arrangements due by 8月1日. To make sure that the charges on y我们的 first bill are correct, please make sure to complete the following. You can read all about setting up a five, f我们的, or three month payment plan via 我们的 Student Account 服务 页面.
- Complete the scholarship acceptance form (linked to y我们的 UD Admission Status Portal).
- Accept y我们的 need-based aid, if available, in UD’s BannerWeb. Here are instructions on how to do that.
- Complete the verification process, if you were selected for verification. If you were selected for verification, the "Financial 援助" tab of y我们的 checklist in y我们的 UD Admission Status Portal will list "Verification Worksheet" as a required item. For more information on verification, read the second bullet point on this 页面.
- 选择退出: Waive UD’s medical insurance if y我们的 family has insurance and you intend to stay
on their plan. Please refer to the email sent by studentaffairs@8051turk.com
with the subject line University of Dallas - Mandatory Student Insurance Information. - Optional: After accepting the federal loans in Banner, you will finalize the process by completing Entrance Counseling and a Master Promissory Note (MPN) at studentloans.政府.

Mark Y我们的 Calendar for Orientation!!
Be sure to save the date for Freshman Move-In Day! All freshmen will move into their residence halls in the morning on Friday, 8月1日8th. Orientation will run from Friday, 8月1日8th to Tuesday, August 22nd. The Office of Student Affairs will send you a detailed orientation schedule on July 17th.
